Anna Stobart   Julian Shellard
Anna Stobart is a qualified (Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Personnel & Development) HR professional with extensive experience at senior director level with international charities and businesses in the UK. She now runs her own HR consultancy business with associate consultants and an executive assistant.
Her passion is helping organisations to be great places to work as well as having a heart for those who are marginalised and in poverty.  She has DBS clearance through her work in leading children’s groups in church and hosting young people through NightStop. 
In 2022 she spent three months in Sicily as a volunteer for a charity while still running her company.  She writes and speaks Italian to intermediate level.  She is a fluent French speaker having studied and lived in France for a few years. 
 
  Julian Shellard is a solicitor and has more than 20 years’ experience of charity director roles. A committed member of his church, he has served in children’s programmes (with DBS clearance) and developed a concern for the poor and marginalised and social justice issues.  His love for Italy goes back to 1985 when he and his wife first visited the country together and they have visited almost annually since around 2010, learning the language and exploring different regions including Sicily which they have visited 4 times. Relevant experience for this CIO role is his current role as secretary of a charity in his village, whose functions includes providing financial grants to local groups for various social causes. He has a sharp grasp of finances having served as finance officer of his church and is able to spot legal issues and apply his legal knowledge to the activities of his charities.

Raffaele Hasenfratz    
Raffaele Hasenfratz has over twenty years’ experience in the social care sector, with many at management level working in different settings, from children’s homes, semi-independent units for young adults, human trafficking women’s shelters, domestic abuse
shelters, and schools. Although originally from Sicily, Raffaele's affinity for the UK has led him to return numerous times to engage in third-sector work. Additionally, he served as CEO of a charity based in Sicily for a period of two years. Currently residing in Surrey with hiswife and son, Raffaele is part of the administrative team at a charity dedicated to supporting persecuted Christians globally.
